Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has paid tribute to former governor, Chief James Ibori, on his 68th birthday, commending his leadership and enduring contributions to the state’s development.
Oborevwori, in a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, described Ibori as a visionary and inspirational leader whose years in office helped shape Delta State’s growth.
The governor said Ibori’s commitment to public service, resilience and leadership inspired many people and laid a solid foundation for the state’s development.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate our dynamic and inspirational leader, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, former Governor of Delta State, on his 68th birth anniversary,” Oborevwori said.
He noted that the former governor’s impact continues to be felt across Delta State and beyond, with many still appreciating his contributions to governance and development.
Oborevwori prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and long life for Ibori as he marked his 68th birthday.
“May your special day be filled with joy and pleasant memories. Congratulations,” the governor added.
