Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa has today, congratulated “Team Delta” for emerging victorious at the 5th National Youth Games (NYG) which was held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

While congratulating the team, Governor Okowa praised them for their doggedness and determination.

He also said their dedication and commitment culminated in its victory at the 5th edition of the games.

Governor Okowa attributed the success of the team to the huge investment of Delta State government in sports.

He also disclosed that “Team Delta”, emerged victorious at the competition after winning 41 gold, 32 silver and 31 bronze at the National Youth Games competition in Ilorin.

The governor was spotted having a photograph with the team and its technical members.
