The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated its Vice Chairman, Elder Chukwudi Abiandu, on his 70th birthday, describing him as a veteran journalist and media professional whose contributions have positively impacted journalism and public communication.
In a statement signed by the Forum’s Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha, DOPF praised Abiandu’s more than 30 years of experience in journalism, public relations and media consultancy, noting that he has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity and ethical reporting.
The Forum said Abiandu, who is also the publisher of Banner Online News, has earned the respect of colleagues and the public through balanced reporting, thoughtful analysis and his commitment to promoting responsible journalism.
It also commended his role in mentoring young journalists and supporting the growth of online journalism in Delta State and across Nigeria.
DOPF noted that as Vice Chairman of the Forum, Abiandu has provided quality leadership, wise counsel and selfless service, helping to strengthen the organisation and promote professionalism among online publishers.
The Forum described him as a respected media figure and public relations strategist whose dedication, humility and service continue to inspire others in the profession.
It prayed for God’s continued protection, good health, strength and more years of impactful service as he celebrates his 70th birthday.
