A former Leader of the Oshimili South Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon. Ebeodi Eluaka, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 63rd birthday, commending his administration’s developmental projects and support for traditional institutions.
Eluaka, who currently serves as the Chief Protocol Officer to the 14th Asagba of Asaba, conveyed his goodwill message in a statement issued on Friday, June 19, 2026.
He described Governor Oborevwori’s relationship with the traditional institution as one built on mutual respect, regular consultation, and cooperation, noting that the governor has consistently recognized the important role of the Asagba’s throne in the development of Asaba and Delta State.
According to him, the governor has demonstrated through his actions and policies that traditional institutions remain vital partners in governance and community development.
Eluaka said he had personally witnessed the governor’s commitment to the growth of Asaba and the Delta State Capital Territory through the implementation of the administration’s M.O.R.E. Agenda.
He highlighted several infrastructure projects executed by the state government, including the completion of critical sections of the Asaba-Ughelli Expressway, the reconstruction of the road linking Inter-Bau Roundabout to the Mammy Market/Abraka axis, and ongoing storm drainage projects aimed at reducing flooding in Okpanam, Anwai, and other parts of Asaba.
According to him, these projects reflect the governor’s understanding of the importance of developing the state capital as a symbol of progress and growth.
Eluaka also commended the administration for improving security within the capital city and supporting the development of Dennis Osadebay University, noting that these efforts have boosted public confidence and created a more conducive environment for residents and investors.
He said many residents continue to testify to the peaceful atmosphere in Asaba and the positive impact of government projects on their daily lives.
As Governor Oborevwori celebrates his 63rd birthday, Eluaka prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health, and strength for the governor.
He also expressed hope that the administration would continue to record successes while advancing the development of Asaba and Delta State.
“May your administration continue to enjoy the blessings of Asaba, and may the city continue to grow as a true capital of unity, peace, and progress,” he stated.
