The Delta State Government has said it is set to spend over N1 billion to rehabilitate the degraded Federal roads in the State.

This was disclosed yesterday following the State Executive Council meeting chaired by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.

During the SEC meeting, the council said the federal roads to be rehabilitated by the Delta State Government are the Benin-Sapele Road; the Benin-Onitsha Road; and, the Agbor-Abraka-Eku Road.

The State Executive Council said it has also approved the construction of the 2.3km Benekrukru Road in Warri South West local government area of the state.
