Social media has been set ablaze as Nigerians react over comments by Nigerian popular singer Teni Apata regarding feminists not equal to a man.

The singer took to her Twitter account today, mocking females who think they are equal to men.

Teni questioned the permission of feminism, stating that if they will still go ahead to kneel and propose to Men themselves.

She captions the tweet as “Y’ all feminists, till it’s time to bend on the knee to ask a man to marry you. Aren’t we equal?

Responding to statement by Teni, some of her fans, especially females have expressed their dissatisfaction over her statements.
