Delta Police Nab Four Suspected Gun Traffickers in OG Millan Case

The Delta State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with an alleged gun trafficking network linked to the death of 28-year-old musician and delivery worker, Oghenemine Ogidi, popularly known as OG Millan.

The suspects — Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, Clifford Boleyelefa, Amadi Princewill, and Amadi Felix Chibuike — were arrested in coordinated intelligence-led operations carried out in Bayelsa and Imo States.

Police Commissioner, Yemi Oyeniyi, disclosed the arrests during a press briefing in Asaba on Monday.

According to the police, the suspects are part of a wider illegal arms trafficking network under investigation after a Beretta pistol was recovered at a motor park in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, on May 1, 2026.

The investigation began after Emmanuel Chukwuemeka was arrested in Bayelsa State on May 4, 2026. A phone linked to his associate was allegedly used in the transaction involving the firearm.

During questioning, Chukwuemeka reportedly said he bought the pistol from Amadi Princewill for ₦290,000 and later sold it to another suspect identified as Desmond, who is currently on the run.

He allegedly stated that Desmond transported the weapon to Effurun, where it was later connected to the case involving OG Millan, who was reportedly instructed to collect and deliver an item to Sapele.

Following this lead, police arrested Princewill in Imo State on May 15, 2026. He also allegedly confessed to buying the gun from Amadi Felix Chibuike for ₦200,000, leading to Chibuike’s arrest in Owerri on May 16, 2026.

The police said all the suspects are believed to be linked to the Black Axe confraternity. Efforts are ongoing to arrest other fleeing syndicate members, including the suspect identified as Desmond.

Authorities confirmed that the suspects will be charged in court after investigations are concluded.

However, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka has denied full involvement in the alleged operation. He claimed he became aware of only parts of the incident after the fact and insisted he did not directly participate in the crime as alleged.

He also admitted to being a member of the Neo Black Movement, saying he joined in January 2026 but maintained that he had not engaged in criminal activity since then.

Police say investigations are still ongoing as they work to dismantle the wider illegal arms network linked to the case.
