Delta Head of Service to Partner with D-CARES for Better Community Services

Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State – June 4, 2025

The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr. Mrs. Mininim Oseji, has said she is ready to work with a special program called D-CARES to make life better for the people of Delta State.

She said this when a group of people from the D-CARES program came to visit her. The team was led by the State Coordinator, Lady Dr. Patience Ogbewe.

Dr. Oseji explained that if they are going to work together, it’s very important to follow the rules when buying things for the program, so that everything is done properly and fairly. She also said they should follow the plans and goals set for the program so that people who need help can truly benefit from it.

The D-CARES program stands for Delta Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus. It is a government project that helps grow the economy, support people in need, and improve local communities across the state.

Earlier during the visit, Dr. Ogbewe congratulated Dr. Oseji on her appointment as Head of Service and praised her for being honest and hardworking. She told the Head of Service about the good things D-CARES has already done, including helping communities, creating jobs, and supporting small businesses.

Dr. Ogbewe said her team is ready to work closely with the Head of Service to make the program even more successful.

With this new partnership, both sides hope to make services faster, smarter, and more helpful for everyone in Delta State.
