The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 63rd birthday, describing the occasion as a significant milestone for both the governor and the state.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Emmanuel Enebeli, and Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha, the forum noted that the governor’s birthday coincides with the third anniversary of his administration, providing an opportunity to assess the progress made under his leadership.
DOPF acknowledged the efforts of the Oborevwori administration in implementing development programmes across the state, particularly in infrastructure, governance, and other key sectors of the economy.
The forum also commended the governor’s commitment to continuity in governance and policies aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of residents across Delta State.
According to the statement, members of the forum, as stakeholders in the media and information sector, have closely monitored developments in the state and recognise the importance of accountable leadership, prudent management of public resources, and regular engagement with citizens.
DOPF urged the governor to sustain efforts towards promoting inclusive development, strengthening public institutions, and responding to the changing needs of the people.
The forum further praised Governor Oborevwori for his service to the state and wished him good health, wisdom, and strength as he continues to discharge the responsibilities of his office.
The association reaffirmed its support for initiatives that promote good governance, transparency, and sustainable development in Delta State.
