Prince Olusoji Receives SWEF Award for Empowering Communities and Changing Lives

Asaba, Delta State — A kind and generous man, Prince Olatunji Olusoji, has been honoured by the Southern Women Empowerment Forum (SWEF) for helping people and making life better for many others.

The award was given to Prince Olatunji Olusoji during a special event held in Asaba, the capital of Delta State. This event also marked the launch of the Delta State Chapter of the Southern Women Empowerment Forum.

Even though Prince Olusoji couldn’t attend in person, he was well represented by Hon. Dafe Efetubor Jordan. He thanked SWEF for giving the award to his boss and said Prince Olusoji has always helped people in important areas like education, health, and housing.

Also present was Mr. Kayode Ekundina, the coordinator for the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation in Delta State. He praised the forum for recognising the good work Prince Olusoji has been doing.

The president of SWEF, Dr. Helen Taiwo Adebakin, called Prince Olusoji “a man of the people” who helps everyone, no matter where they come from or what they look like. She said he has done a lot for women and girls in Nigeria.

The event also featured a speech by Barrister Bridget Anyafulu, a lawmaker representing Oshimili South in the Delta State House of Assembly. She spoke on the theme “Women as Healers of a Broken Nation: Strengthening Families, Mentoring Youths, and Building Peace.” She told the audience that women are not slaves but partners and helpers in the home and society. She explained that when women are empowered, the whole family and community become stronger and better.

Other people who received awards at the event include the Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Monday Onyeme (represented by Elder Emmanuel Ogidi), and Chief Amori, the Chief Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The event was a celebration of people who work hard to help others and make Nigeria a better place for everyone, especially women and children.
