Facebook restructures the settings page on mobile

Facebook has restructured the setting page on mobile in a new way.

With the new settings layout on mobile, users can now see more on the page at a time because visually, the new layout looks much less sloppy, and individual settings don’t have descriptions.

This was made known by Facebook in a blog post on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, and was seen by Goldennationblog.com.

According to the blog post, Facebook also changed the organization of the settings themselves. The company has reduced the number of categories for the settings and renamed them.

Also, Facebook relocated some of the settings to enable related ones, and with the new setting layout, users can now see six categories of settings namely: Account, Preferences, Audience, and Visibility, Permissions, Your Information, and Community Standards and Legal Policies.

Facebook further explained that the new setting will be on Android, iOS, mobile web, and Facebook Lite adding that you might already have the redesign.
