The Delta State Director of Information, Paul Osahor JP, has urged Deltans to apply for the Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC).

This was contained in a statement he signed made available to newsmen.

He said the Course 27 has commenced on Thursday October 3, 2019 and will close on Wednesday November 14, 2019.

He encouraged Deltans to apply once online, at www.joinnigeriannavy.com adding that the application is free of charge.

Osahor also stated that applicants must be holders of B.Sc, BA, HND, LLB, and BL, B.NSc and RN/RM or their equivalents stressing that membership of professional bodies is an added advantage.

He also said applicants must possess NYSC discharge or exemption letter.

The information boss disclosed that Applicants must be single adding that Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres.

He said the date and time of a qualifying aptitude test, will be placed on the website in due course.
