Alleged Drugged Boy, Kills Four, Injures 3 In Ogwashi-uku

Reports have revealed that a reckless boy identified as Uche (surname withheld) allegedly ran into not less than seven persons, killing four instantly and injuring three in Ogwashi-Ukwu, Aniocha South LGA of Delta State.

The tragedy occurred as guests were arriving at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Ogwashi-Ukwu for the funeral mass of Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi’s aides, Tony Iwelu who was recently electrocuted in a hotel room.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, witnesses said the young man whose mother was once a councilor in Aniocha South Local Government, must have been drunk or under the influence of cannabis, popularly known as (Igbo) before taking over the wheels of a red Toyota Camry car used in killing his victims.

It was also affirmed by sources that the boy had been causing his parents distress, and at a time was flown abroad to utilize a better opportunity in a safe environment.

Nevertheless, it was gathered that the boy misused the opportunity and came back to continue in his gangsterism and waywardness.

It was further revealed that Uche joined the vigilante group, which made him more violent as he uses the platform to intimidate his victims and causing havoc in the community.

Victims of the alleged killing by the boy include a family of four who was returning from the church where they had gone to clean on a Saturday morning.
