Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, on his 67th birthday.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor described Orubebe as a respected statesman and dedicated public servant who has made significant contributions to the development of Delta State and the Niger Delta region.
Oborevwori commended the former minister for his years of service to the country, especially during his tenure as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, where he played an important role in promoting infrastructure and development projects across the region.
The governor said Orubebe’s experience, leadership and commitment to public service have continued to benefit both Delta State and Nigeria.
According to Oborevwori, Orubebe remains one of Delta State’s distinguished sons whose contributions to national development and the welfare of the people have left lasting impacts.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the former minister, including good health, wisdom, strength and many more years of fruitful service to humanity.
The governor also wished Orubebe a happy birthday celebration and success in all his future endeavours.
