The Igbuzo Youth Council has purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly nomination form for Hon. Frank Esenwah, the member representing Oshimili North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, in a strong show of support for his re-election bid.
The nomination form was presented to Esenwah on Friday at his residence by leaders of the youth council, led by its President, Comrade Ifeanyi Asiodu, alongside APC stakeholders from Ogboli and a former legislative aide to the late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
The group said the decision to purchase the form was based on the lawmaker’s performance, accessibility, and what it described as people-oriented representation over the past three years.
They commended Esenwah for what they called proactive engagement with constituents and consistent attention to community development projects across Oshimili North.
The youth council also highlighted the ancestral connection between the lawmaker and Igbuzo, noting that although his father hails from Illah, his mother is from Igbuzo, making him “a true son of the community.”
“We are proud of Hon. Frank Esenwah and the quality representation he has given to Oshimili North. He has shown capacity, dedication, and commitment to the people. That is why we decided to support him by purchasing his APC nomination form,” the group said.
The council pledged to mobilise support for his re-election, expressing confidence that he would secure overwhelming votes from Igbuzo and other parts of the constituency.
They added that Esenwah’s performance had earned him the backing of youths who believe he deserves another term to consolidate on his achievements.
Responding, Esenwah expressed appreciation to the youth council and APC stakeholders for the gesture, describing it as a show of trust and confidence in his leadership.
He assured constituents of continued commitment to quality representation, grassroots development, and effective legislative engagement if re-elected.
The event signals early political mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections in Delta State.
