The Federal Government of Nigeria has opened a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy to help young people learn about advanced technology. This program, created by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, is in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat and Intel Corporation.
The AI Academy offers free courses on AI basics, ethics, tools, and real-life uses. Students will also get a chance to compete for roles as AI ambassadors and internships with Intel, giving them real-world experience in the field.
This program is designed to prepare Nigerian youths for future jobs, improve their skills for the global job market, and encourage innovation in the country.
The government hopes this project will use technology to create jobs, grow the economy, and improve lives.
