Ace American actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger returned to his action movie roots on Netflix with FUBAR, his first action-comedy TV series.
The movie series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spice, action, and humor as it’s highlighted Schwarzenegger as a ready-to-retire CIA agent who gets wrapped up in one last mission.
Schwarzenegger on the point of his retirement discovers a family secret that forced him to go back into the field for one last job.
The series will land on Netflix on May 25th, 2023, and the original titled FUBAR is an acronym for “fucked up beyond all repair”
The first trailer has Schwarzenegger return to his action movie roots, blazing between scenes of the star jumping on a motorcycle, running around in a sports car, and firing off a pistol.
Other stars in the eight-episode movie series include Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel, Fortune Feimster, Milan Carter, Travis Van Winkle, Gabriel Luna, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris, and Fabiana Udenio.
“Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies. Well, here it is,” Schwarzenegger says in a statement.
According to him “FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh and not just for two hours. You get a whole season.”
