DMX honored in new style during memorial, monster-truck carry casket

A memorial service held for the late rapper, Earl Simmons, better known as DMX, was performed on Saturday, April 24, at 4 pm, in Barclay’s Center, Brooklyn, after he died of a heart attack on April 9, at 50 years.

It was gathered that the memorial service was restricted to close friends and family because of the coronavirus, but it is scheduled to be live-streamed on YouTube on Sunday, April 25.

During the procession, a monster truck was seen carrying the casket followed by Ruff Ryder’s rap group along with hundreds of motorcyclists, and fans who took the sidewalk from his birthplace in New York to gather at the memorial service in Barclays Center.

The monster truck hauling the casket was inscribed with the words “Long Live DMX” along with the Ruff Ryders logo.

The memorial ride was tagged “The Ruff Ryders 2 The Rescue: Ryde 4 Life.”
