Popular Nigerian social media comedienne, Emanuella Samual, better known as Emanuella has won the Favorite African Social Media Star category of Nickelodeon Kid Choice Awards 2021.
Emanuella won the award over five other nominees including Ikorodu Bois, Uganda Youth Dance Group; Ghetto Kids, South Africa Magician; Wian Van Den Berg, Kenyan social media sensation; Elsa Majimbo, and South Africa media personality, Bonang Matheba.
The comedian after winning the award through public voting, took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, to show gratitude to her fans.
In her words, she wrote: “Congratulations to me as I won the Favorite African Social Media Star category at the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards 2021. I am so happy to be a winner, thank you! To all my fans out there, I say thank you. To all those who voted for me, I love you so much, this win would not have been possible without you.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, is an annual American children’s awards ceremony that is been produced by Nickelodeon and it is also known as KCAs.
The Awards was hosted by Kenan Thompson (Kenan Saturday Night Live) and it’s recognized as the biggest and most entertaining stars across the world of film, television, music, sports, video games, and social media.
