Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face ( 2Baba) has reacted to the death of veteran Nigeria singer, Victor Olaiye.

This is contained in a statement revealed to journalists by the Managing Director, Evergreen Music Company Ltd, Bimbo Esho.

It was gathered that the singer, Victor Olaiye passed out yesterday Wednesday at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

Reacting, legendary 2Baba lamented over the death of ‘Baby Mi Da’ crooner, victor Olaiye.

2baba who took to Instagram to express his sadness captioned his statement as “Devastated by the news of your passing. Dr. Victor Olaiye – Maestro, Mentor, Legend.

Stating further, 2baba commended the legend for the inspiration and the opportunity of sharing a mic and a stage with him, as he wrote “Thanks for the beautiful music. Thanks for the inspiration. Blessed for sharing a mic and a stage with you. Rest in peace baba”.

The singer died at the age of 89.

Recall that 2face collaborated with Victor Olaiye in 2013 to produce the single ‘Baby Mi Da’.
