Nigerian music star Davido has announced the release of a new song, Be There Still, as part of his highly anticipated album, 5IVE. The track is set to drop on March 14, 2025.
The Afrobeats sensation made the announcement on Friday through his social media platforms, describing the song as “special” and promising fans “vibes that never fade.” He also shared a short video preview featuring a snippet of the song.
In Be There Still, Davido reflects on his 12-year journey in the music industry, highlighting his achievements and blessings. Some of the lyrics from the song read:
“12 years I am still on top/ And my cup runneth over/ Na God dey bless me all the way.”
Album ‘5IVE’ Coming Soon
The singer had previously planned to release his album 5IVE earlier but later rescheduled it to April 18, 2025. While speaking about the project, he described it as “my story, my truth, and my growth.”
So far, he has released two songs from the album:
