Mr. Reno Omokri, the former aide of President Goodluck Jonathan, has accused Christians who still assume white weddings as Christians wedding.
According to him, it is a European cultural wedding because the scriptures do not say anything regarding how to have a wedding as nothing like a Christian wedding.
He said, the wedding is seen entirely as a family affair, and once your parents bless your wedding, it’s assumed that God has already blessed it. Because God does not focus on your wedding day rather he focused on your marriage life.

He said Africans who have White weddings and then traditional weddings are in reality having 2 traditional weddings unknowingly to them. He added, even Muslims now do it.
Narrating further, he accused Africans of selling their future instead of sacrificing a day to secure their future.
Reno, faulted the foundation of their marriage, alleging that Africans are willing to go into debt to finance their wedding but instead, unwilling to secure loans to finance their businesses. He said that’s why their marriage has issues.
