BBNaija reality star, Laycon has a broken record with his show ‘I Am Laycon’ on Showmax as the most viewed show on its first day.
The reality series which is the first original shot produced by Showmax in Nigeria has the highest first-day views ever on the streaming service in Nigeria.
Showmax Public Relations Officer in Nigeria, Onna Okafor disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, the show remains in the number one most-popular spot on Showmax after a week of it’s released in Nigeria.
The show was exclusively premiere on Showmax on 10th of February with super fans known as iCONs staying up to watch the first five episode with the #IAmLayconShowmax hashtag.
The ‘I Am Laycon’ series is made up of Laycon and his crew, mostly his close family and friends.
The next episodes will be available on Showmax for streaming exclusively on 4 March.
The ‘I Am Laycon’ series is currently been stream in 26 countries outside Africa including the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany.
Other countries include, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Gree, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
