The traditional ruler of Abah-Unor Kingdom in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Obi Ndubuisi Maduabunachukwu II has advised the newly elected executive members of Abah-Unor Development Union (ADU), to perform their duties without fear or favour.
He gave the advice during the formal inauguration of the members at Abah-Unor
Obi Maduabunachukwu II said the executive must ensure they move the community to a greater height adding that peace and unity should be their major concern.
While saying that upliftment of the community should be paramount in their agenda, he urged them to carry everybody along in their leadership.
In his speech, the newly elected chairman of Abah-Unor Development Union, Mr Victor Adibeli, thanked God for the success of the election which gave him victory as the chairman.
The chairman promised to work hard with his executive, to justify the confidence reposed on them, adding that the community would be moved to an enviable height in his tenure.
Adibeli lauded the traditional ruler and the people of Abah-Unor for finding them worthy to serve, calling on the entire people of the area to give the needed support to the obi.
Other elected members were Friday Ujeh, Vice Chairman; Mrs Joy Okonji, secretary; Mrs Florence Mozor, Treasurer; Mr Maxuel Ilom, Provost; Reuben Ogugua, member; and Friday Onwuseuka, member.
Others were Onwegoekwu Chukwuka, member; Godwin Chenumuya, member; Prince Ogochukwu Madu, member; and Mrs. Eunice Oliseku, member.
