The Delta State Police Command has declared journalist Tega Samson Oghenedoro, popularly known as Fejiro Oliver, wanted over allegations of cyberstalking and defamatory publications on Facebook.
The declaration was contained in a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Delta State Police Command, Asaba.
The bulletin was published in an advertorial on page 45 of Vanguard Newspaper on Friday, August 7, 2026.
According to the police, Oghenedoro is wanted in connection with alleged offences linked to posts published on a Facebook account bearing the name “Fejiro Oliver.”
The police said the alleged publications were made between May and July 2025.
The bulletin, issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police, described Oghenedoro as a 38-year-old journalist and provided details of his physical appearance and last known address.
It stated that he is about 1.6 metres tall, of medium build, with a copper complexion, oval face and thick hair.
The police listed his last known address as Cyrus Excel Estate, Abuja, while Lagos and Abuja were identified as locations he was known to frequent.
The command appealed to anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, at the Delta State Police Command Headquarters, Okpanam Road, Asaba.
A dedicated telephone number was also provided for information relating to the case.
The wanted declaration followed an ongoing police investigation into the alleged offences.
However, being declared wanted does not amount to a conviction. Oghenedoro remains presumed innocent unless and until a court of competent jurisdiction finds him guilty of the alleged offences.
