A community leader and public affairs advocate, Chinedu Mayor Enujeko, has praised the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, for approving the construction of the strategic Umuordi–Abuedo Road in Ubulu-Uno and other road infrastructure projects across Aniocha South Local Government Area.
Enujeko, who serves as Senior Special Assistant to the governor and was recently appointed Assistant Chief Commissioner of Scout Nigeria, expressed his appreciation in a statement made available to the public.
According to Enujeko, the governor’s approval of the road project marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of rural communities in the local government area.
He explained that the Umuordi–Abuedo Road has for many years been a key route used by residents, farmers, traders, and commuters to move between different quarters of Ubulu-Uno and nearby communities.
He said the construction of the road will greatly improve accessibility and reduce transportation challenges faced by residents.
“The project will make it easier for farmers to transport their agricultural produce to markets and help boost local economic activities,” Enujeko said.
Enujeko noted that good road infrastructure plays a major role in community development, stressing that improved roads help connect communities, promote trade, and enhance social interaction.
He added that once completed, the road will stimulate economic growth in Ubulu-Uno and surrounding areas by improving the movement of people, goods, and services.
The community leader also commended the Delta State House of Assembly for supporting the approval process that allowed the project to move forward smoothly.
According to him, the cooperation between the executive arm of government and the state legislature reflects a shared commitment to development across Delta State.
Enujeko also acknowledged the contributions of Chris Ashimeduanim, the Onishe of Ubulu-Uno Kingdom, whom he described as a strong supporter of policies and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
He credited the traditional leader with playing an important role in the development and modernization of the community.
Enujeko urged residents of Aniocha South Local Government Area to continue supporting the administration of Governor Oborevwori.
According to him, the governor’s development agenda is already producing visible results across different parts of the state.
He expressed optimism that the newly approved infrastructure projects will not only improve transportation and connectivity but also promote long-term social and economic development in Aniocha South and the wider Delta State community.
