Akwa Ibom State is in mourning following the passing of its First Lady, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, who died on Thursday, September 26, 2024, after a prolonged illness. The tragic news was confirmed in a statement issued by Ini Ememobong, the state’s Commissioner for Information, in the early hours of Friday.
According to the statement, the First Lady passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at a hospital. Although details surrounding her illness remain undisclosed, the family has requested prayers and support during this challenging time.
