Sapele is set to come alive with excitement on September 27 and 28, 2024, as people from all walks of life gather for a monumental celebration aimed at giving back to the community through development and entertainment.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Godwin Dudu-Orumen, Esq., the Sapele Athletics Club, located at the local government headquarters, will host the well-curated two-day event packed with engaging programs.
The Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Elder Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will officially open the event on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Dudu-Orumen revealed that the two-day event will kick off with a medical outreach and a Business Summit focused on the theme: “Unlocking the Investment Potentials in Sapele,” moderated by Delta State Higher Education Commissioner, Professor Nyerovbo Tonukare, alongside Nkoyo Egbedi.
Lead discussants for the summit include prominent personalities such as David Lweta, Godwin Ebosa, Matthew Edevbie, Frank Lkejija, and Moses Akpobasah.
The celebration will culminate in a series of exciting activities, including a debate, a tour of local attractions, a novelty football match, a showcase of various African cuisines beloved by the Sapele community, and a gala night.
