Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Comrade Agbatemiyiro Isaac Weyinmi on Monday, gives a clue on what the youth should expect from Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration through the Ministry of Youth Development.
The Commissioner said the ministry under his watch is looking towards establishing a youth resource and development centers in the state.
Comrade Weyinmi made this disclosure while interacting with Journalists after presenting his ministry’s proposed 2024 budget to the State House of Assembly House Committee on Budget.
According to Weyinmi, the youth should be hopeful as the 2024 budget is a budget of hope, adding that a lot of things have been packaged in the proposed budget and youths will be adequately mobilized through the MORE-YD E’ Series, the first-ever policy of the Ministry in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda of the State Governor.
The youth development Commissioner summed up that one major component of the ministry’s 2024 budget is the issue of the establishment of the Delta State Youth Resource and Development Center.
He put in that the establishment which will be massive, is also a first of its kind as it will enable the ministry to have a remarkable and sharp departure from every other youth facility in the state.
