American rapper, DeAndre Cortez Way, popularly known as Soulja Boy, has taken a late swipe at Wizkid over the comments he made towards him twelve years ago.
The drama started when Soulja Boy saw an old tweet from Wizkid dated back to 12th May 2010.
In the tweet, Wizkid was referring to Soulja Boy as being wack, he wrote “I swear Soulja Boy is wack!…jeeeezzzzz!
Responding to the tweet after twelve years, Soulja Boy responded by insulting Wizkid’s mother.
He tweeted “Ya mama Wack. Shut ya btch a* up.”
The tweet has generated over 8000 likes and more than 6000 retweets.
The rapper has also liked a couple of tweets scrutinizing the topic.
Hotewhiphop.com reported that Soulja Boy doesn’t care how long ago the disrespect was– he’s going to address it.
According to the report, Soulja Boy might have gotten his start by being a rapper, but since his first song dropped in the early 2000s he’s found plenty of ways to stay relevant. Whether he’s trending for doing something first, coming out with a new invention, or saying something crazy online, it’s become incredibly easy for the 31-year-old to break the internet.
