US rapper, Nelly has penned down an apology message after a video of him receiving oral sex surfaced on Instagram.
He says the video is an old clip that was never meant to see the light of day.
TMZ gathered that the “Hot In Herre” rapper started trending Tuesday on Twitter after his IG story briefly included an uncensored video of a woman performing oral sex.
According to TMZ, the video was quickly deleted, but not before folks were able to capture screen recordings and repost.
While apologizing, Nelly stated that “I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”
Question on how the clip ended up getting on his Instagram account, his team said it seems like Nelly’s account may have been hacked.
The team further said they’re investigating a breach and are concerned more of his private content might have also ended up online.
The team added that information including his financial information, personal documents, and passwords might have also been tampered with.
