Queen Elizabeth’s second son, Prince Andrew, has been stripped of his military and royal titles over sexual assault leveled against him.
He will no longer use his “His Royal Highness” title in any official capacity until the case comes to an end as he will defend himself as a private citizen.
This was disclosed by Buckingham Palace in a statement signed by the Queen on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
This is coming after a 38-years-old woman,
Giuffre accuses him of sexually assaulting her in 2001 when she was 17, claiming she was delivered to him by Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew’s friend.
According to the lawsuit, Giuffre alleged that the Duke of Yoke had sex with her without her consent, even though he was aware of her age at that time, an allegation Andrew has denied on various occasions.
In 2019, during an interview with BBC, Andrew had said he did not remember ever meeting Giuffre.
He said “It didn’t happen, I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady whatever.
