Burna Boy and Wizkid have released the visual for the ‘Ballon D’Or’, the latest song they collaborated on recently.
The video was announced on Friday by both artists using their social media handles.
The video starts with Burna Boy and Wizkid on a boat cruise, drinking in the stability of the cool atmosphere at a beach in the company of different ladies.
Both singers can be seen demonstrating their salvage style in the music video — a concept they portrayed by the ‘Ballon d’Or award which is a prestigious trophy given to the best male footballer in the world.
This is coming after they collaborated on ‘Ginger’, a track off ‘Made in Lagos‘, Wizkid’s 2020 hit album.
It is a well-known fact that both singers have established themselves as household names in the global music industry with a series of hits tracks, awards, and various recognition.
In 2021, the pair grabbed their first-ever Grammy award each at the 63rd edition of the annual event.
Burna Boy started to gain popularity in 2012 after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013).
He went on with his incredible run to release his fourth studio album ‘African Giant’ in July 2019. The project would later win ‘Album of the Year at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
Wizkid, on the other hand, has taken the global music industry storm since last year with the success of his ‘Made in Lagos’ album.
