Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed his mother’s reaction whenever he said he’s not getting married.
He said his mother gets really angry every time he shuts down the idea of settling down.
The Grammy award winner made this known in a post he shared on his Instagram stories on Monday, October 25, 2021.
According to Burna Boy, his mother turns red every time he tells her he is never getting married.
In his words, he wrote “My mum hates it so much whenever I tell her I’m not getting married. She turns red. My issue is that now I’m too sure if I really mean it or I just say it to piss her off.”

With the singer’s statements, he had put to rest the rumors that he had secretly gotten married to his British girlfriend, Stefflon Don.
It was gathered from a video that went viral in September 2020, when Burna Boy was seen repeatedly calling the rapper his wife.
In the video, Burna Boy said “Look what my wife got me mehn,” he’s referring to a necklace he was putting on. “You see, you need a wife like my own, that’s the problem,” he added.
Meanwhile, before this video, there had been speculations about their engagement.
Recall in February when Stefflon Don shared a photo of herself wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.
The two first went public with their relationship in 2019.
