Mr. Godfrey Osakwe, the vice-chairman of Nigerian Public Relations (NIPR), has acknowledged the need to positively engage the mind to help improve the overall well being of an individual while also reducing and maintaining stress through relaxation.
Mr. Osakwe made this affirmation with members of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of Delta State Chapter of NIPR during an invitation to Park Vegas Water Park, Ewuru Agbor, Delta State.
Mr. Osakwe during the tour, commended the visionary of the project, stating that, it will enhance the tourism potential of the state, adding that, it will as well place Delta State on the world map, while also called on relevant stakeholders in the private and public sectors to partner and patronize the establishment.
The vice-chairman went further to expressed gratitude to the management for their warm reception during the tour while also pledge the support of the institution in the areas of awareness creation and strategic engagement.
Responding, the Human Resources Manager of Park Vegas, Mrs. Joy Esho Shaba, stated that the mission of the Park is to be number one in West Africa, stating that, they are members of the International Association of Amusement Park and Attraction (IAAPA) and also World Water Park Association (WWPA).
Mrs. Esho-Shaba, however, expresses gratitude to members of the NIPR for honoring their invitation while Mr. Anthony Ogadi, the Park Supervisor during the tour, showed the members of NIPR different segments of the Park which include a Wave Pool, Space Hole, Free Fall, Black Hole, and Aqua Tower splash.
Other members of the institute who embarks on the tour include Financial Secretary, Isaac Ogerugba; Treasurer, Florence Nwabuonwu; Welfare Officer, Ese Obote-Ogwu, and Esther Obisie as an active member.
