The Delta Social Media Summit, supported by Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori focused on empowering young people by teaching them about responsible social media use and the importance of accurate information. In his speech, Governor Oborevwori, through his Chief of Staff, Hon. Prince Johnson Erijo, emphasized the importance of accuracy and honesty in social media activities. He urged young people to exercise caution and truthfulness in their online interactions.
The summit’s theme, “Harnessing the Power of Social Media,” was well-received as attendees took part in workshops and discussions aimed at improving their digital skills. The event also showcased Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to engaging with the youth, developing infrastructure, and promoting fairness in Delta State.
