Wizkid has announced the date he intends to drop his next album ‘More Love, Less Ego’.
He made this known on his Instagram page on Saturday, October 30, 2021, while sharing the album cover for the ‘Made In Lagos’ album and also celebrating one anniversary of the release.
In his post, he revealed that his next album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ will be dropping on the last day of his ‘Made In Lagos’ tour which he scheduled for January 22, 2022.
According to Wizkid, he said “1 year already! Thank you for riding with me. I’m just very grateful for all the love and blessings,” Wizkid wrote.
“Promised not to make you wait too long for the next one. ‘More Love Less Ego’ dropping on the last day of the tour!”
In October 2020, Wizkid released ‘Made In Lagos’ (MIL), his fourth album.
He has been on tour for the project, selling out concerts across the global west.
MIL featured big names in music like Damian Marley, Skepta, H.E.R, Ella Mai, Burna Boy, Tems, and Terri.
In 2021, Wizkid dropped a video for ‘Essence’, a track off MIL, and followed up with a Justin Beiber remix.
‘Essence’ shot into the Billboard Hot 100 chat, breaking into the top 10.
Wizkid had also released an 18-track deluxe version of the project, receiving global acclaim.
Also in mid-2019, Wizkid had featured on Beyoncé’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’, a track off ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack.
This had won him major international awards, as fans are celebrating him on social media.
