A Nigerian man, Felix Echezona, was sadly shot and killed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on January 12, 2025. His sudden death has left his family and friends heartbroken.
After his body was brought back to Nigeria, it was kept at Bishop Shanahan Hospital Mortuary in Nsukka. His family has now announced the final burial arrangements.
Felix will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in his hometown, Umuida community, Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. A special church service, called a Requiem Mass, will be held for him at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, Umuoshene, Umuida, before he is buried.
His loved ones will gather to say their final goodbyes, remembering him and the life he lived.
