Popular Nigerian female singer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage, better known as Tiwa Savage revealed plans towards dropping her upcoming Extended Playlist (EP) titled ‘Water And Garri’
The singer made these revelations through a post on her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 28, when she posted a video of herself and American singer, Pharrell Williams while listening to the EP.
According to Pharrel Williams after listening to the tracks describes that they’re not commercial songs but classic, stating that the soul in the songs was fucking crazy.
He said, “I will refer to it as Boat music, BBQ music, and self-reflection music. He applauded her that anybody that doesn’t get it shouldn’t be listening to music.
In regards, Tiwa Savage thank him stating that “Menh I can’t like I’ve got goosebumps cause I’ve not played it for so many people. I’m always scared cause I don’t.
However, Tiwa Savage while posting the video also uses an opportunity to seek from fans on when to drop the EP as she wrote:
Had @pharrell listen to my EP WaterAndGarri
I made music for the soul and one of my favs just confirmed it
@motownrecords @siphodlam I need a date to drop this.
