The Youths Advocacy For Good Governance, YAGG, has echoed its support towards a peaceful credible free and fair election in Delta State.
YAGG in a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Mike AZ, Provost, Comrade Victor Egwuyenga, Publicity Secretary, Comrade Chuks Golden said, “Winning election into public office is not desperate, do or die venture as political actors have made politics a do or die affair which has paved it’s way to violence.
The statement however calls on Delta youth to be part of this year’s election process, while also urging them to come out en mass on Saturday, March 6, 2021.

According to the statement, “politics is anchored on the principle of Pro people manifesto, fresh ideas and all forms of pro-democratic principles.”
YAGG under the watchword of “Say no to vote-buying and ballot box snatching” calls on all Delta youth to shun any form of violence such as vote-buying, ballot stuffing, thuggery, and other forms of electoral fraud as a checklist before seeking the mandate of the people.
YAGG went further to encourage Delta youth to be part of the electoral process which will usher in another fresh beginning of local government councils. Adding that the political actors and the election arbitrator in Delta State are to ensure credible polls that will bring onboard credible candidates.
However, YAGG also calls on DESIEC to conduct a hitch-free exercise that will be devoid of any kind of electoral fraud.
