Nigerian legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, has said he will never stop celebrating his late friend and musician, Olanrewaju Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan who died after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.
Sound Sultan died at the age of 44 on July 11 and he has since been buried in New Jersey in the United States of America.
The late singer survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
2baba, while responding to the sad news of his friend’s death, took to his Instagram page days later to condole with the family of Sound Sultan.
He wrote “Couldn’t bring me to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother.”
Also, in his words, he said “Still so unreal. Will never stop celebrating u. I promise u your fam will be safe and good. #GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life.”
Recall, 2baba and Sound Sultan have recorded some songs together. Songs like Bush Meat, Enter The Place, Prayer, and others.
