As the world marks International Women’s Day 2025, popular Nollywood actress and women’s leader, Hon. Chief Amb. Dame Rita Daniels Chukwuji has sent a powerful message to Nigerian women, encouraging them to stand up, take leadership roles, and help shape a better society.
In her heartfelt message, Hon. Rita Daniels praised Nigerian women for their strength, resilience, and creativity, highlighting their important contributions to their families, communities, and the nation.
This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) theme, “Invest in Women. Accelerate Action,” calls for more opportunities for women and the removal of barriers that hold them back. Hon. Rita Daniels urged women to fight for their rights, seek leadership positions, and push for equal opportunities in all aspects of life.
She also emphasized the need for more women in government, stressing the importance of achieving 35% representation for women in leadership. She called on policymakers to involve women in decisions that affect them and urged society to respect and support women’s personal and professional growth.
Hon. Rita Daniels, a strong advocate for women’s empowerment, encouraged women to believe in themselves, take charge of their futures, and support one another.
