Prince Ned Nwoko, the Senatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party representing Delta North Senatorial District has won the seat in the upper house of the National Assembly.
Prince Ned was declared the winner on Monday by Dr. Josephine Anene-Okeakwa, the Returning Officer of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency.
Dr. Anene-Okeakwa announced the result at the collation center for the House of Representatives and Senatorial office in Oshimili South Local Government Council, Asaba.
According to the result, Prince Ned of the PDP won with a margin of 6393 votes. He scores 92514 to defeat Kennedy Kanma of the Labour Party who score 86121 while Sen. Peter Nwaobushi, candidate of All Progressive Congress scores 36,816 during Saturday’s election.
