The People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), in Ughelli Ward 1/5, has yesterday inaugurated executives to oversee the activities of the party in the ward.
The inaugural ceremony which took place at Otovwodo town hall was witnessed by leaders across the ward.
This was witnessed by prominent Members of the party such as the member Representing Ughelli North Constituency 2, in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Prince Eric Oharisi, Barr Fred Majemite one time Commissioner for Land and Survey, Chief Dr. Chris Oharisi Chairman Governing Council, Delta State School of Health Technology Ofuoma Ughelli, Hon Prince Barr Happy Oharisi Board Member Urban Water Board, Mr. Moses ETO, Chairman Warri Wolves Football Club.
Other Members are Mrs. Helen Udi Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on women mobilization, Comrade Felix Olokpa (JP) immediate past LGA youth leader, Comrade Stanley Clever, immediate past Ughelli ward1/5 Chairman now LGA youth leader, who handed over the mantle of leadership to Mr. Jude Oharisi, Mr. Samuel O Robinson amongst others.

Responding, the house of assembly member presenting the ward, at DTHA, Prince Oharisi in his speech advised the newly inaugurated excos not to see themselves as superior over the party, charging them to work in line with the party’s directives to ensure that the party secure victory in any of her election.
In the same vein, Barr Fred Majemite begged Mr. Jude Oharisi and his team to always work in harmony, peace, and unity, adding that by so doing they will achieve desired goals as a family.
Responding, Dr. Chris Oharisi urged the ward excos to work with the ethics of the party bearing in mind that they are on the same page with the Local Government council.
In his remarks, Mr. Jude Oharisi thanked and praised the ward 1/5 leadership for entrusting these positions and offices into their hands.
Assuring the Leaders of their total loyalty and honesty in discharging their duties, Oharisi, promised the Leaders of a peaceful working coexistence between the LGA, Ward, and Units.
