Robert Maraj, the father of popular American rapper, Nicki Minaj has reportedly been killed by a hit-and-run vehicle.
The accident happened around 6 PM ET on Friday evening around Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue.
According to reports that were seen by goldennationblog.com reveals he was walking on the road between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle heading northbound.
Robert in his critical condition succumbed to his injuries and passed over the weekend at the age of 64 after he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
The Nassau County Police in New York says the driver then fled the scene without a meaningful description from witnesses.
The Homicide Squad investigating the case are asking for public help in identifying the responsible party since there wasn’t a decent description of the suspect vehicle provided.
However, Nicki has not made a public statement but a rep for Nicki confirmed her dad’s death but did not give further comment at this time.
