Ned Nwoko Rebuilds Police Station and Plans Officers’ Quarters

In a move to make Idumuje-Ugboko and nearby areas safer, Senator Ned Nwoko has repaired an old police station that had been abandoned for years. He also plans to build houses for police officers working in the area.

Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, noticed that the community lacked a working police station. This was a big concern because Idumuje-Ugboko is close to a university and a major road leading to Edo State, making it a possible target for crime.

To fix the problem, he funded the renovation of the police station, making sure it had proper furniture, clean toilets, and a fence around it for security. Soon, police officers will be stationed there to help keep the area safe.

The police station had been in use since 2009 but was abandoned in 2017. Seeing the need for better security, Senator Nwoko took action to revive it, especially to protect the university community and nearby towns.

In addition to the station’s repairs, he plans to build homes behind it so police officers can live close to their workplace. There will also be a special unit to help fight cult-related activities.

Dr. Michael Nwoko, the senator’s Chief of Staff, said these efforts show how much Senator Nwoko cares about keeping people safe and improving their lives. With better security, residents can go about their daily activities without fear.
