Nigerian music producer and social media influencer, Samuel Oguachuba, better known as Samklef, has blamed Nollywood for the increasing cases of ritual killing in the country.
Samklef said this in a post he shared on Twitter on Sunday, January 16, 2022, while reacting to the high rate of ritual killing.
According to him, he argued that the movie industry keeps promoting fetish-themed content, thereby influencing people negatively.
In his post, he tweeted “Igbo Nollywood, English and Yoruba movie are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies.”
“Nigeria movies producer can do better. Everything must no be based on juju and religion” he added in his tweet.
