American songstress, Kelly Rowland, has shown an interest in collaborating with Nigerian singer and Marvin Record signee, Ayra Starr, on the remix of her hit song ‘Bloody Samaritan’.
The news of this development arose after Kelly and Ayra Star took to their respective Instagram stories to repost a video of a Ghanaian-American author, Larry Ossei-Mensah, who shared a video of himself driving with the song playing in the car on his Instagram page on Sunday.
Sharing the post, Mensah also tagged both singers and wrote “I need this collab to happen for the culture, please!”
It was gathered that Kelly Rowland reposted the video on her Instagram stories on Sunday confirming her interest in the collaboration.
Reposting the video, Kelly wrote, “Just say the words, I’m ready.”
The Punch gathered that Ayra Starr also reposted Kelly Rowland’s post on her Instagram stories.
In August 2021, Ayra Starr released her debut album ’19 and Dangerous’ which amassed her the number 2 spot on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart in the same month.
Since the release of her album, the singer, born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, has remained relevant and consistent in the Nigerian music scene.
