American singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist, John Roger Stephens professionally known as
John Legend, performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration event, Celebrating America.
He performed, seated at a piano at the foot of the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and belted out an excellent cover of the soulful Nina Simone classic “Feeling Good.” which has kept making waves since the 1960s.
Meanwhile, earlier at the inauguration event, Lady Gaga sang the National Anthem before the official swearing-in ceremony.
Jennifer Lopez sang “This Land Is Your Land,” and Garth Brooks sang “Amazing Grace.”
