The Kaduna State house of Assembly has conceded impeaching the deputy speaker, Mukhtar Isa Hazo, representing Milgoma Constituency.
This was followed as 24 members of the assembly passed a vote of no confidence on him before he was impeached during on Thursday plenary.
Immediately after the impeachment, Isaac Auta, the lawmaker representing Kauru Constituency, emerged the new Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Meanwhile, Liman Dahiru, a member representing Makera Constituency, broke into the floor of the Assembly and snatched the mace which leads to the fight during the swearing-in of the new deputy speaker.
Dahiru was overshadowed and had his clothes torn as he attempted to make his way out of the chamber, the Sergeant at Arm grabbed him while other members made drastic moves in an attempt to regain the mace from him.
The plenary session ended in the rowdy way after the disappointed member was pushed out of the parliament.
Though, the rationale behind the impeachment of the former Deputy Speaker was yet to be confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
